May 13, 2010 Dear Members of the Midwest Surgical Association, The 53rd Annual Meeting of the Midwest Surgical Association will be held at the Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island, Michigan, August 1-4, 2010. The MSA Conference Registration Form is enclosed and should be accurately completed and submitted to the MSA Clearinghouse Director by July 7, 2010. There are several options for submission and payment on this website including credit card registration. Please register early. The completed MSA registration forms will help us plan a wonderful meeting for everyone. The registration packet includes a letter from William Cirocco, M.D., Chair, Local Arrangements Committee, detailing accommodations, programs and events at the Grand Hotel. Please be sure to use the separate hotel reservation form (also included) to reserve your room by July 2, 2010. We would like to encourage sponsorship of new members. Application forms are available for downloading here. Completed applications and attachments should be returned to me at the address below well in advance of the summer meeting. We are requesting updates for e-mail addresses as the association is going green and will be sending future correspondence via e-mail. If you have not already done so, please provide your e-mail address to the Clearinghouse Director or e-mail it directly to me. Children are welcome at all social events. The Council reminds parents of their responsibility to supervise their children‘s conduct throughout the meeting. President Schroder, the entire Council and I look forward to welcoming everyone to the Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island for this year’s superb scientific and social program that is sure to offer something for everyone.
